Unearthing and re-creating the "company food" of yesteryear! I'll cook it, my husband will eat it, and you'll rest easy in the knowledge that your next backyard party or church potluck will be a success!
oh, also wanted to say - the pic at the opening, the "frozen salad", I made that w/ my mom starting in the 1950s- was the grape peeler/seeder, and continued every yr. Making one this week, not xmas eve dinner w/o it - we love it for the historical family continuity. I make w/ 'chino cherries, seedless grapes, heavy cream, mayo etc. Will luv seeing your recipe.
I actually made this a couple of years ago and just pulled the picture to fill in a gap on the video :) Here it is! http://dbkitschen.blogspot.com/2013/12/the-fourth-day-of-kitschmas-frozen.html
